Welcome to the launch of the 2024 Opportunity Institute! This institute is hosted by Georgetown University and Penn State, in collaboration with the American Talent Initiative.
The Opportunity Institute: Colleges and Universities Working to Improve the Student Academic Experience and Outcomes gathers teams from colleges and universities nationwide to foster dynamic discussions and spur strategic initiatives that identify and mitigate key structural barriers to student success.Participation in the Opportunity Institute is free, so please encourage your colleagues to join. The founders of the Opportunity Institute include faculty, staff, students, and administrators, and we have designed the institute to be that rare opportunity that brings individuals from many different sectors of higher education together.
Our goal for the Institute is to help you and your campus team:
Join with others on your campus to strategically define and productively tackle a project that can expand opportunities for student success at your institution.
Connect with colleagues from a wide range of institutions - including institutions with common geographic and/or project interests - as part of the broader higher education student success ecosystem,
Learn from dynamic speakers, panels, and interactive workshops to bring the very best ideas to your work and to your students’ success.
